Cash for Clunkers Participating Dealer
Now is the time to act...You may be eligible for a U.S. Federal Government Voucher up to $4,500!

On Thursday, June 18th, the U.S. Congress passed a bill with a provision referred to as "Cash for Clunkers." This is the Car Allowance Rebate System (CARS) President Obama signed into law.  The purpose of the program is to encourage American drivers to upgrade their older, less fuel efficient vehicles with autos that are better for the environment.  Trade-in vehicles towards new vehicle purchases between late July 2009 and October 31, 2009 (exact dates to be announced) are eligible for the government voucher.  Details will be forthcoming from the Department of Transportation within the next 30 days.

Example of a Cash for Clunkers qualifying scenario (as the bills sits today):
If you have a 1995 Dodge Caravan with 100,000 miles in good condition, your Caravan could be valued around $1,000.  If you decided to purchase a more fuel efficient vehicle (certain restrictions apply--see chart below), then you could qualify for a $3,500 - $4,500 rebate from the government.  The rebate would be given to Paul Moak, as a participating dealership, and we will discount the new vehicle by the appropriate rebate amount.
